Holy frak! I thought I'd lost page two when my old PC bit it, then I finally remembered "NO! I have a copy on my ftp!" :D

Alas, this copy was still unfinished as of yet, while I had gotten the Incinerator done, the sniper rifle from AvP2 was STILL giving me fits on dimensions and looks about like it does here. So now I start THAT section over again.. <.<

The M870 was a last minute addition after I saw a pic of one like that & thought "I could see that being used.."

Finally.. The scope rifle, I will admit, I eyeballed a pic of a resin kit made by the late Chris Chulamanis to draw. (RIP Bro, we miss ya. *salute*)

I'll swap this out when I get it done again, so..

...so, even in the 22nd century (if you subscribe to the belief that Aliens was set in 2179, and Alien in 2122-- 57 years before), the Remington Model 870 (first introduced in 1951) and the Ithaca Model 37 (which debuted even earlier, in 1937) shotguns are *still* in use? Talk about designs that have stood the test of time-- I can't think of a single gun commonly used by any military today that was first made over 200-250 years ago. Most of the other weapons seem to have evolved and been updated over the centuries, why not the shotguns, I wonder? (That also brings up the fact that the H&K VP70 is still commonly in use-- somewhat newer than the other two, I know, and probably not made by Heckler and Koch anymore, but still).
